Chingona Creative is the creative home of Linda Ramirez — a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, writer, songwriter, and vocalist based in Dallas, Texas.
My work moves between archive and present, exploring identity, intimacy, autonomy, memory, environment, culture, and transformation through photography, self-portraiture, painting, music, poetry, and storytelling.
I’ve been making art since the 1990s — beginning with 35mm photography, environmental portraiture, self-portraiture, music, and painting, and continuing today through digital photography, iPhone work, writing, and mixed-media exploration.
